Handling Default and Local Namespaces with the XmlNamespaceManager Class

The SelectSingleNode() and SelectNodes() methods are very useful when specific nodes need to be accessed from within a DOM structure using XPath. However, when namespaces (both local and default) are involved, a little extra work needs to be done which involves the XmlNamespaceManager class found in the System.Xml namespace.

This example demonstrates how to use the XmlNamespaceManager in conjunction with the SelectSingleNode() and SelectNodes() methods to select nodes within default and local namespaces.
